KIPS System Transition Timeline
Transitions to KIPS 2.0 began in September 2024. The legacy system will be supported through March 31st, 2025. The transition is currently flexible for your organization to choose the approach that works best for your program- whether you’d like to move your entire team at once or gradually transition users as they reach re-certification timelines.

General KIPS Questions
What does a KIPS subscription include?
A KIPS subscription grants you year-round access to our comprehensive training program. Upon completing the training, you will take an exam to earn your certification, which must be renewed annually. Additionally, you will have unlimited access to the KIPS library, filled with extra practice exams and resources. You’ll also have access to a dedicated portal to track all your KIPS evaluations for each family you work with. This portal allows you to input information and export reports, showcasing both your program’s KIPS outcomes and the outcomes for the families you assist.
What is the KIPS Annual Checkup/Recertification?

Finance & Invoicing Questions
How much does KIPS cost? How do we pay?
$200/year/seat. KIPS is connected to Stripe for secure payment processing. All subscriptions will be managed through KIPS.
What does seat-based pricing mean?
You are purchasing a seat-based subscription for a year.
- Example: If your program has four staff members performing KIPS assessments, you will purchase four subscriptions at $200 each. Each staff member will have full access to KIPS for a year and all the benefits that come along with it.
- If a staff member leaves, you can reassign their seat to a new employee without purchasing an additional subscription.
Does getting recertified cost additional money?
Your KIPS subscription gives you unlimited access to the KIPS eLearning, the KIPS library full of practice exams and additional resources, digital evaluation forms, reporting, and recertification for as long as your KIPS subscription is active.
Our program just purchased KIPS, do we have to pay again to access the new KIPS this year?
For each eLearning purchased in 2024 already, we will grant those users access to KIPS 2.0 for a year. For annual checkups paid, no action may be required at this time until next year when they’re up for renewal. If you want them to have access sooner, contact Jade at jade@kipscoaching.com to discuss your options.
What happens when my program's annual subscription is up?
Before your annual subscription expires, you will receive a notification reminding you that your subscription is up for renewal. It will automatically renew unless you cancel. Be sure to archive users who are no longer using KIPS in your program so you aren’t billed for those seats upon renewal.
What happens when the subscription renews, but we have fewer people than before?
Your renewal is based on the number of seats you have filled. If you have 4 out of 6 seats filled, you will only be billed for 4 seats and will be adjusted to 4 out of 4 seats filled. If you need more seats, you can add additional seats as you need them. Be sure to archive users who are no longer using KIPS in your program.
Will physical evaluation forms still be available for purchase?
No, with the rising costs of paper and shipping, we can no longer support physical evaluation forms. You can print evaluations online as part of your subscription.
Will you offer refunds if a person leaves KIPS?
No, we will not offer refunds at this time. You can archive the user who leaves, and their seat will remain available the next time you add a user.
Do you accept checks?
Yes, we do accept checks. However, please note the following:
- We prefer ACH or credit card payments, as they are easier for us to process.
- A $30 handling fee will be added for check payments to cover additional processing costs.
You must notify us when you submit your order that you need an invoice and check, or we will assume you are comfortable with ACH/Card.

Technical Questions
We sent an invitation to all our users and some of them are receiving errors and unable to create their account. What do we do?
All invitations expire after 72 hours. Resend the invitation to the user and have them try again. If you’re still experiencing an issue, please notify jade@kipscoaching.com or logan@kipscoaching.com.
